Shirell A. Gross, recently spoke at Her New Standard, The Playbook For Women Leaders, where it is their mission to develop women leaders and ignite thinking, confidence, and greatest potential.

During Shirell’s time at Her New Standard, she emphasized on leadership lessons including:

  • Establish a standard of operating for yourself so that people will know what to expect

  • Be clear, succinct and always tie it back to the business

  • Reframe Politics - see office politics as being being strategic

  • Understand and meet people where they are not where you want them to be

  • You teach people how to treat you
